“Sir, we heard that you are suspended from NASA operations due to your stupid attitude issue within the organization?” the reporter of DailyNews.com asked.
“Yes. It is true that I have been suspended” Collins said.
“We have also been told that you floated across unreliable informations about America’s first moon landing?” the reporter further asked.
“You must have also heard that I claimed alien-visits to Earth” Collins said.
“Yes sir” the reporter replied firmly.
“So what is your question now?” Collins asked.
The reporter thought for a moment.
“Sir, with due respect, I don’t agree that Earth has been threatened by Aliens ever since we sent man-made objects to moon sir. So you must had been crazy about those of your unreliable informations” he added.
“I hope you agree that Neil Armstrong was the first to land on the moon” Collins asked.
“Yes sir.”
“What do you think that came back from moon?” Collins asked.
The reporter’s eyebrows shrunk.
“Wasn’t it, Neil?” he asked.

Arrival - Review

Arrival - Review

kudos for the Asian writer! He stood out with his extraordinary script on alien's communication strategy. I understand the concept of representing a "whole" and speaking in terms of a "whole". But how could that "whole" have arrived in the first place? If you consider different languages as those by-products that come out at different temperatures by boiling oil in the furnace, looks like the language of aliens, as shown in the movie, is a language that was invented as the last by-product in the by-product-chain.

However, I like the concept of representing "whole". I would be interested to know their definition of time. Because in our world an event is an ordered sequence of tiny or even minuscule events. The order is the significant logical piece here. Now if you consider the world where this order of events happens at the same time, then I further think that there should not have been a concept of a beneficiary. Imagine a world with no concept of the beneficiary? That is what the ancient Hinduism says.
Just be there! Feel the nature as an inherent part of you. You and nature are no different. It is just that you got five senses while nature got trillions. Be there. Feel it. Let it take over you and be blissed. That's all.
Towards the end of the movie, I could definitely get that we all are going back in our inventions. I would not be surprised if we at the end, knock the door of a cave man and ask him to accommodate us.
"To survive we need food" must have been the first flaw of Ape-kind. Notice here, I am using the word "Ape-kind" not "Man-kind". Perhaps we all should have unlearnt it, the moment it sprang up in our deepest ocean-mind. Language, as we all know, a communication tool must have been unnecessary. That means we all are making life a complicated one with those "unnecessary" stuffs that we have invented to keep us at the side of the so-called "beneficiary".
A "whole" is nothing but time, which is greatly and minusculely sliced and put in order. All we are doing is choosing an order and our purpose is to continue to keep us or maintain us at the state of "beneficiary". State is a fictional component. An inherent food for logical brains. The spark that sapiens got somewhere in their brain cells must have been a technical or design fault.
I like the movie for triggering all these thoughts in me.

Passengers - review

Saw "Passengers". Nice movie. What if one wakes up midway in a long journey to a distance planet? A journey that lasts almost 120 years? Well, he takes an year of time to wake up a girl for his company. If I were in his shoes, might have woken up a girl immediately.

Passing by a giant star, ship loosing gravity and the sight of her being held in a bubble were wonderful scenes. Kudos to the creative head. The design of the ship itself is magnificient. Chris Patt looked manly in Jurassic Park series. Here in this, I think he has attempted to look like an young boy. Voyaging to a new home has been shown in so many films. Interstellar for example. But Passengers looks like a sci-fi drama. Most of the times, it is either Chris or Jennifer that is talking to the robot.

How could he bring up a tree in the middle of the ship despite familiar equations like water, soil, sunlight and seed? I am clueless but can go with that since the movie comes under scifi.

STORY: KNIFE

STORY: KNIFE

By: Ram Prasath
knifedman
As a sharp knife was on its way penetrating that tall man’s chest and he screamed loudly while his clothes went red, the director shouted “cut” thrice indicating to the crew that the scene was over.
The crew relaxed and was getting ready for the next shot. Dale took the knife and pressed its edge on his palm and he saw that the knife instead of piercing his palm, went silently into the handle itself with the pressure from his other hand by a spring. Reducing pressure, the spring inside the handle was to relieve the knife out of the handle.
“How much does this fetch you?” Dale asked keeping that fake knife on the table inbetween them.
“What? Supporting actor roles in films?” Carter responded.
“What else?”
“Smaller it may be but this is a very genuine job with a proper pay check Dale”
“Contract killing is nothing but the same thing with a real knife but it fetches hell lot of money with which one can live the life of a prince of Abudhabi” saying so he took out a knife from his pocket and placed it on the table next to the fake knife.
“But that is illegal Dale”
“As long as you don’t make it electronically into a bank trasaction, you are free to spend the money the way you want Carter. No tax. No forms. Nothing”
“let me go with what I have Dale”
“Loser!!” he said and grabbed the knife from the table and hid it inside his pant packet.
“I am gonna go on an assignment and I will be paid a huge-some with which I am gonna go to Florida for 3 months vacation Carter” he said and left. Carter stared at Dale until his head vanished.
Dale was on his assignment the next day. He had come to the spot where he had to kill a businessman at his garage. Once he saw the guy at the garage working on his Bentley, he tip toed to him, pulled out his knife from his packet and thrusted with great pressure on his back.
To his surprise, the handle of the knife gave way and the sharp bottom of the knife went smoothly inside the handle piercing nothing. The business man shouted “Guards!! Guards!!” and there appeared several heads in military uniforms with snipers in hand.

STORY: A MURDER

STORY: A MURDER

By: Ram Prasath
murder
“A Million?”
“Five. One settlement”
The dark figure that sat inside the Rangerover thought for a moment and pulled out a bag and handed it over to Donovan and Jimmy. Donovan and Jimmy took the bag, pulled its zip and looked into it. Packs of dollar notes worth 5 million!
“No crazy moves gentlemen. I need a clean work. If any of you play foul games, it would only be a matter of another 10 million to hunt you guys down” saying so the figure inside the Scorpio handed over a photo to them.
It was the fifth murder that Donovan has been contracted along with Jimmy and not even once were they caught. Credit should go to their unique skills. Obviously they charged more for each contract.
At the same night, they both hid themselves amidst the thick bushes nearby and entered into the premise of the target, they had to kill. A silencer fitted gun, just a bullet and a right time was all that were needed to put the target down for funeral the next day.
Donovan and Jimmy together moved out the house and rushed to a safe zone where they can relax and free themselves from the eyes of local civilians so as to not get caught.
“What next?” Donovan asked.
“No more assignments for another 3 months. Lets burn the money we got. We’re going to Las Vegas” Jimmy said and to spend money for the Air tickets he opened the bag and carefully retrieved a bunch of hundred dollar notes only to realise that the notes were fake currencies.
