One of my very favorite web series on Netflix. I have seen this entire series once long back and since then, I have been repeating watching selective episodes that I liked the most. Its been more than a decade since this TV show ended in the US and yet, it is still the only one on FRIENDS. I mean, I have not seen any other show, as holding as, as captivating as F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

I watch this show (at least once in a day) whenever I feel like to laugh and sad to agree that there are no equivalents to this show in todays' date. Even if they made one, I don't think it would be as interesting as F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (I didn't like 'Whatsup velakari'. Stopped watching it from the 1st episode).

I tried so many other shows to find a likelihood with FRIENDS. 'Good Place' was once suggested to me, when I asked for tv shows that are FRIENDS-kind. I watched but I was not impressed. Gave up eventually. There are many subjective tv shows but not like FRIENDS.

Before Netflix, I had the habit of listening to Comedy Dramas. Crazy Mohan, S.Ve.Shekar to name a few drama creators. 'Ayiram uthai vaangiya aboorva sikamani', 'thathupillai', 'Athirstakkaran', 'Vaal paiyan' were some of my favorites of S.ve.Shekar. (These comedy shows were the only ones I agree with him. I am definitely not by his side in his politics). This fondness for mild-drama-comedies was contagious and they soon spread over to all my family. I even had CDs that I could run in my car when on long journeys.

Even then, FRIENDS, I would rank at the top on all these.

Didn't expect Tom cruise in a very subjective profile.

Every country has an assassination story of one of its top political head. When and where are just variables. JFK for America, Gandhi for India and so on. Only a few leaders were filthy lucky to escape such grand plans. Valkyrie is all about the last assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler. Yet Hitler survived it only to kill himself (or to have gossiped so forever) 9 months later.

This movie plots around this vain attempt by a few rebellious German army men who loved their country more than their Fuhrer.

German fleets, aircraft, bikes, jeeps, bunkers, artilleries..... someone has done an extraordinary effort in recreating Germany in 1944 - 1945 period. More than that, I think, somebody must have enjoyed writing diaries in the mentioned period.

Hope what they showed in the movie was real. I mean, history can be manipulated. It is difficult to say which version is right. But what is quite evident is, irrespective of who is who, a group of people develop a common misunderstanding on grand propaganda, group together to take every step to bring down the propaganda and try their best to host what they believed in, which could again be a common misunderstanding.

But, Grouping, the one logical construct that aid in societal crimes is inevitable. That's a basic human activity. Even computers, when networked, talk to each other in a language quickly invented on the fly and exchange data meaningful only to them.

Two Novels

Almost done with the two novel works that has been occupying my time in the last three months. Winter and its chillness were killing. Novel works were a good time pass. If these productive works were not there, I probably might have spent time idle. Idle minds are devil's workshop.  Aren't they?

The English one is at a whopping 30000 word count. Fear engulfs me on thinking about the editing work. Its going to be another pain but from the point of view of 'time pass', it is overwhelming. The title that I initially thought for it was, 'Do you see Alcor?'. I could not come up with any other title as attractive as 'Those Faulty Journeys', my second English work. This will be its title unless I or someone else come up with a better one.

It's Tamil version, I have titled as வதுவை - நாவல்.

I have injected as many perspectives of mine that are subjective, in these works. As long as you take it sportive and open for intellectual debates, this should be OK.

There is already a novel work in English that I am done with, a year back. Somehow didn't find time to place it anywhere. Planning to accommodate it in 2019. Have to start off with next novel. Have so many ideas to organize my thoughts against. Expect summer to be accommodative of it.

With immense pleasure, I am sharing with you all the release of my 8th book, "Those Faulty Journeys" by Emerald Publishers. The book is now available on sales in the on-going 42nd book-fair in YMCA ground, Nandanam, Chennai.

Ideally, this should have been my 3rd book since it was developed in parallel along with my 2nd book work titled "Ungal En Enna" but that is what fate is all about right?

Ever since the release of the original version in 2017 in Tamil, the book has undergone considerable updates. I have deleted a few unwanted portions and have added a few pieces of stuff that are relevant. So this book is not just a translated work.

This is my 2nd book in English. A Mathematical Fiction.
