Inexhaustible - Novel Review by Gayathri Devaraj

Reading is one of the pleasurable hobby which takes you entirely out of your world virtually ! And Ram Prasath is one of the author who has such power to converse with others brain and mind and give such pleasure through his writing !
Inexhaustible :
I have read many novels and this is one of the best thriller that I have come across. This book speaks about how IT can be used to exploit by intelligent brains. Also it very well portrays the typical behaviour of a selfish modern women. And clearly expresses the need for money would lead you to do anything.
On a positive note the author has maintained the feeling of uncertainity till the last page which made me very curious to read what next.More usage of IT jargand in the novel made it very close to my heart being an IT programmer. The supporting cast of characters is excellent. Especially Varsha. Her character has been portrayed very pragmatic in the novel.
On a note of Critic, the author could have used more adjectives to define the characters. And also the high usgae of IT terminology in couple of chapters of this book could have made reader friendly for all type of Readers (Not only IT ). Few thing that were described in the novel was not used much or didnt help much to support the context.
This is one of Ram's best Thriller and he has a complete control over his concept and style. Despite critics,it's a pleasure to accompany the author on his journey. The unexpected ending is a fitting denouement to the novel. I strongly recommend my friends to read this who loves to read Thrillers. This book is definitely a piece of work by a Creative Genius !
Ram Prasath - Thank you so much for giving the readers a chance to live with Varsha, Arvind and Vimal !!!
Eagerly waiting to read your other books !

Those Faulty Journeys - Novel Reviews

If there is any subject that would kindle interest in almost all souls in the universe, that is love. However, it is not the case when it comes to mathematics. It remains a dreadful subject to many. Reason being that mathematics was used so far as a mere support to the discoveries, researches or philosophies. Numbers, formulas, theorems and equations are thought of more as gaining academic excellence and something never consciously applied to the daily life even though our lives are bounded by lot of numbers.
Relationship holds the key to the very existence of the mankind and is a source for many problems around us. Many social issues which we witness in the modern world can be linked directly or indirectly to the relationship issues. It is a fact that modernization is alarmingly affecting the human relationships. It is interesting to note that this novel connects these two contrasting topics, love and mathematics and proposes a solution for problems arising out of one through another.
It is quite a challenge to arrive at a mathematical model to represent human choices and preferences with respect to relationships. The author had taken this ingenious task and have successfully brought out a masterpiece. The novel is aimed at bringing an ideal relationship in mankind and thus preserving the balance of the ecosystem of our species. This goal is highly appreciable and very relevant to the modern world where the cases of conflicts are in a rise. The book is unique in its representation of human relationships in the form of numbers and proposes a mathematical model to address the social issues.
Is it possible? Life is all about uncertainties. Do we really have the control of the outcomes of our decisions? Choosing a life partner for instance! The biggest decision of our life. Can we really predict the outcome of a marriage? The novel gives a satisfactory and logically rational answer to this through numbers.
It is highly commendable how this challenge has been carried out in the form of amazing story through which a reader can relate to.
The plot is well narrated and guarantees a great experience for the readers. The storyline is very simple based on the lives of two young couples. It appears to be a usual neighborhood story as one can come across in today’s life. But, when one of the men stumbles upon a betrayal and seeks an outside help for a solution, the novel shifts to a different dimension. The inquisitive character entering at the later part introduces numbers and equations in a rational mapping to the essences of life. The facts laid out by the character are quite convincing and the author have done the painful task of conveying the nuances of the mathematics to the readers in an appreciable manner.
I sincerely recommend this book for everyone to read. It would be great if this concept can be taken to a medium like movies or short film which would reach more people.
The book is available as kindle

Life – a story by Ramprasath

By: Ramprasath
Through the porous space, passing of the space fleet PHOENIX appeared like a drifting meteor. After 40 years of cryosleep, the programmed cryosleep chambers allowed the inhabitants to wake up as the fleet approached the configured destination.
Planet LIFE was spotted by Kepler located comfortably in the goldilock zone around its host star, ZEL10B. ZEL10B survived with four moons and a day in ZEL10B, according to calculations, seemed to last 44 hours. It was neigther hot, not too cold. To add to the glory, it circled around its host star while revolving by itself making the whole planet offer earth-like ecosystem for migration.
“Have we woken up much earlier?” Suzanne, the commander in chief of the fleet asked.
“Coz, I don’t see the planet” she said as she looked through the window. What she saw was porous space. There was no sign of a planetary system in sight.
Walter, the humanoid robot scanned through the sector again and ran the calculations. Once the super computers ran all the algorithms, results were scattered on the screen.
“As per mainframe, we are to travel another 40 light years to reach the planet LIFE” he announced.
“How is it possible? We have already travelled that distance. Haven’t we?” Suzanne asked.
“If LIFE is where it is supposed to be, our sensors should have by now detected a rocky mass twice the size of Earth but there is only empty space right infront of us, commander” Walter responded.
“What does that mean?” Suzanne asked.
“Our data shows that we are seeing what Kepler saw back in Earth. That could only mean, what we are looking at is so massive and it merely acts like some sort of a ‘mirror’. What our Kepler must have picked up is just a reflection of this planet through this mirror” Walter said.
Suzanne stared at Walter in disbelief.

7th Book - Varathatchana

One may argue that 'Varathatchana' was just a family novel. If you jumped into it, you might have taken one such stand on its flow. I am not going to completely disagree. For some reasons, I thought, the term dowry has been totally misinterpreted and my intention was to try social novel this time, as I didn't want to totally ignore that genre. I penned down my idea of 'dowry' in a 100+ pages novel which was later published by Kaavya publishers.

One, like the protagonist of this novel, you would not find elsewhere and if you asked yourself why, then I think the purpose of this 100+ pages would be served. Why the protagonist was in the way he has been in the novel, would not be a better question than, what makes of the protagonist, had he lived the way he did in this fiction? It is a question to ponder and I think, this perspective would make it a unique one. The fact that one such protagonist could only exists in such fiction, could not be an excuse was all I wanted to convey in this work.

This book marked my 7th published work (5th in Tamil) and was released in 2018. This was also my 5th work that was published and released remotely with me being in US).
